Indie developer Odius and publisher Loopr Partners today revealed ZOMBUTCHER: Monster Business Simulator, a stealth-action shop management game. In ZOMBUTCHER, players step into the rotting shoes of a zombie entrepreneur supplying meat and resources to both the human and monster communities. The game will make its debut with a playable demo during February Steam Next Fest.
In ZOMBUTCHER, players operate a small butcher shop by day and hunt the streets by night. Hiding in the shadows of an eerie Louisiana town, you’ll gather “fresh stock,” avoid night patrols, and keep your monster clientele well-fed. After all, running a business is hard enough. Running one while being hunted by humans is another challenge entirely.
Every morning starts simple: collect meat from farmers, slice it up at your shop, and package it neatly for customers. But once the sun goes down, the real work begins. A stranger in a dark alley might just be your next chop.
As customer demand grows, players will upgrade equipment, expand their shop, and hunt for higher-quality ingredients to ensure the monsters’ orders are fulfilled, because they are one customer you do not want to disappoint – whether they’re craving fresh brains, bottled blood, or something a little more exotic.
And if your body starts falling apart? No problem. You’re a zombie. Swap out arms and legs from over ten different limb sets to unlock new abilities or just refresh your body.
