Good news from the village of Zarya! Independent studio SBSR has signed a partnership agreement with Spaghetti Cat. The publisher will help with support and promotion, giving the team more room to bring all their ideas to life.
A new chapter for Zarya: the game started as a passion project by a group of enthusiasts who love what they do, and now it’s entering a new stage, with a publisher’s backing, fresh energy, and fresh plans. Spaghetti Cat, for its part, specializes in discovering talent and distinctive projects it truly believes in. The publisher is confident Zarya is exactly that kind of game: warm, lively, and entirely its own.

While the game is still in development, you can soak up the cozy atmosphere of a post-Soviet village right now with the Fading Summer playlist!
“We’re thrilled to have found partners in Spaghetti Cat who believe in our idea and share our vision for the project. This is a truly important moment for us. There’s still a lot of work ahead, but now we have far more opportunities to bring everything we’ve planned to life and to share development news with players more often,” the developers said.
About Zarya
A story-driven rural driving sim with a post-Soviet flavor. You play as Vasily, a local driver trying to breathe new life into his home village. Help the villagers, deliver parcels, tow cars. In short, do whatever you can.
- Welcome to the village of Zarya!
Haul cargo across endless fields, country roads, and overgrown trails. Upgrade your car and turn it into a tireless iron steed.
- Gripping stories
Dive into the lives of people living far from civilization. Go fishing with Petrovich, take the harvest to the market, tow cars, and try not to end up in a ditch, because the last time anyone saw a tractor in this village was 30 years ago. Enjoy plenty of authentic post-Soviet clichés, from beat-up old cars to landscapes you’ll remember from childhood and the simple joys of life.
- Classic cars
Deliver your cargo in style: it’s not the most efficient way, but it’s guaranteed to turn heads.
