EXOMATES: Open-World Co-op Survival Announced!

0

Studio Try Hard Games and publisher Spaghetti Cat are announcing Exomates, an open-world cooperative survival game set on unexplored alien planets. A playtest open NOW, and anyone can join.

The EXOMATES Corporation drops you on a distant planet with a basic set of instructions, and from there you are on your own. Players can go solo or team up with friends to harvest resources, unlock blueprints, from basic tools and walls to weapons, armor, and more advanced workbenches, build a base, and push into dangerous territory fighting the unknown.

Playtest content:

  • Three full biomes
  • A full tutorial with a hint system
  • Crafting, building, farming, fishing
  • Boss fights and raider camps spawning in the open world
  • Blood Moon mode
  • Friendly fire
  • Sounds effect
  • A progression from axe to submachine gun
  • Localization to 3 languages
  • Private servers that other players can join via P2P

The team is looking for feedback and players input will directly shape development ahead of launch.

The playtest offers more than two hours of gameplay.

The open playtest is not only a chance to be among the first to experience the game, but also an opportunity to help shape its development. The developer will be closely monitoring feedback and taking players’ comments and suggestions into account.
