From March 6 to March 15, 2026, Steam is hosting the Women’s Day Sale, highlighting games created by teams led by women and other underrepresented creators.
The demo of a hack & slash, pixel-art game – Void Dungeon – developed by TRIK Soft, a studio led by Iwona Szatkowska, will be available for players to test during Steam’s Women’s Day Sale, an event designed to promote games created by female developers.
Void Dungeon combines nostalgic pixel art with the modern pace of hack & slash gameplay, focusing on fluid and satisfying combat. The game offers a single-player experience, while the full version will also feature cooperative play for up to four players, allowing friends to explore dungeons and battle bosses together.
The humorous and satirical fantasy world faces an unexpected threat. When danger appears on the horizon, few inhabitants take it seriously. Monsters from other dimensions begin to seep into the world, while mysterious portals open across the land, heralding the arrival of the forces of evil. At the center of the story stands a hero who accidentally obtains a magical, talking crystal that reveals the locations of new emerging threats.
The developers at TRIK SOFT place strong emphasis on character customization – players can choose from three character classes (knight, archer, mage) and eight races that provide different passive bonuses. The progression system encourages experimenting with multiple combinations of abilities and items, allowing players to tailor the character to their playstyle. Exploring dungeons may be challenging, but why not do it with style – the dungeon is the new runway! In addition to classic armor and weapons, the game features quirky costumes, including an astronaut suit and even a cat pajama set.
Dungeon exploration rewards players with new discoveries. Every chest and defeated enemy can yield something new, and the satisfaction of uncovering more loot quickly turns into genuine joy from the loot-hunting experience.
After completing the story section of the demo, players can continue exploring the dungeons, develop their character, acquire better gear, and face increasingly challenging enemies.
