The Sims 4’s Next DLC Appears to Have Leaked

Entering the new season for The Sims 4, it seems a DLC kit leaks, increasing anticipation among its fans.

Again, another DLC from The Sims 4 has seemingly leaked. This DLC comes within the current 2022 Roadmap labelled Simthing To Celebrate, seemingly themed on weddings and parties.

With the new season of The Sims 4 underway, fans of the social simulator know what to expect from now through March 2022 as they are aware of a new game pack, community collaborations, free global food items, and two vibrant kits. However, it appears that one of the kits was leaked today by a source from the Microsoft Store database.

The tweet has since been deleted, but it was leaked by Twitter user @Alumia_Italia, a reliable source known to have leaked The Sims 4 Blooming Rooms Kit, which was released back in November 2021. In this case, today’s tweet revealed one of the DLC kits called the Carnival Street Wear Kit and is to release on February 3rd, 2022. This leak obviously excited fans as they proceeded to ask the source for more information regarding the DLC. Yet the source remained vague by stating that they did not wish to “ruin the fun” and left it at that.

The leak came with the image above, as part of the deleted tweet was recovered and posted into Sims Community, one of many fan sites. It reveals featured items for Create A Sim, items promising “Vibrant Kits That Celebrate Fierce Design,” according to The Sim Team, with its exposing and colourful appearance. Since the Sims devs revealed this year’s Roadmap, it has been nothing but hints and teasers of what types of celebratory themes it could bring for the next three months. This leak gives fans more of an idea of what to expect as well as The Sims 4 promotion tweet pushing fans to “Cheers to the moments worth celebrating” and adding that there are gifts to sort through.

Players express excitement for the new season as they share ideas of what sort of celebrations are to come and even where they could be themed, such as in Brazil or India. With the sandbox game already appealing to those who have never owned a console or considered themselves hardcore gamers, each new DLC has heightened the player community and expanded the title. Although it has been eight years since the release of the series’ last instalment, and fans are honestly ready for The Sims 5 to be announced, these DLC packs in between still draw players in to experience what’s new within the realm.

While fans continue to wait for The Sims 5, the devs keep player communities on their toes, and so do sudden leaks of upcoming DLCs. Hopefully, more information on the celebratory expansion will release soon.

The Sims 4 is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
