Geoff Keighley has revealed all the games nominated for awards at The Game Awards 2024. The Game Awards has become one of the industry’s biggest events of the year, with the 2024 iteration set to take place on Thursday, December 12. The event will honor the best games released in 2024 while making huge world premiere announcements.

Six games have been nominated for Game of the Year at The Game Awards 2024, and it will be very interesting to see which one ultimately takes the crown.

The Game Awards 2024 Game of the Year nominees are Astro BotBalatroBlack Myth: WukongElden Ring: Shadow of the ErdtreeFinal Fantasy 7 Rebirth, and Metaphor: ReFantazioShadow of the Erdtree‘s inclusion has proven to be highly controversial since it is an expansion and not a brand-new game, and one has to imagine that there will be an even bigger controversy if it actually wins the award.
