Indie publisher Pretty Soon and solo developer YYZ (Singapore), creator of the warmly received colony sim, Havendock, and the addictive idle roguelite auto-battler, Siegeturtle, are excited to announce that Stormbridge launches on February 16th at 1:00 PM UTC on Steam.

Stormbridge is a roguelite city builder about growth, survival, and watching everything fall apart – where players must build the longest bridge possible to stay ahead of a relentless storm that is constantly closing in. Each run is a race against time: expand your moving settlement, manage your settlers and production chains, and adapt your strategy as new dangers tear through your structures.

Players will unlock permanent upgrades between runs, recruit adorable companions that grant unique buffs, and discover new tools to defend their settlement – from shields that protect buildings to turrets that let you go on the offensive. The storm itself takes many forms, including blizzards and fiery tornadoes, and surviving means learning how to neutralize threats before they wipe out everything you’ve built.

As players progress, they’ll travel through distinct biomes, each introducing new mechanics and challenges:

  • Tundra – endure freezing temperatures, manage heat, and keep settlers from shutting down in the cold.
  • Sky – launch helicopter expeditions to gather resources and rescue stranded survivors.
  • Underwater – salvage scrap and lost technology to build repair bots and keep the bridge running in hostile conditions.

“I drew inspiration from my life experiences to make my games, and Stormbridge was born from when I went through a stormy period of my life,”

YYZ, solo developer behind Stormbridge.

Key Features:

  • Build the longest bridge or be consumed by the storm – expand a moving settlement while a relentless storm chases you, forcing constant growth, tough choices, and adaptation.
  • Roguelite progression with meaningful upgrades – each run teaches you something new. Unlock permanent upgrades, traits, animal companions, and new buildings to push farther with every attempt.
  • A living, fragile community – manage settlers as the backbone of your bridge-city – keep them fed, warm, healthy, and productive or watch everything fall apart.
  • Dynamic biomes that change how you play – survive freezing tundras, explore the skies via helicopter expeditions, and salvage lost technology underwater.
  • Discover the mystery behind the storm – piece together clues across regions to uncover the origin of the storm chasing your settlement.

Stormbridge launches on Steam and GOG on February 16th at 1:00 PM UTC. Review keys are available now!
