CRG Studio has announced that Crystalfall, its upcoming free online steampunk action RPG, will launch into Early Access in March 2026.
Inspired by games like Path of Exile and Diablo 2, Crystalfall is set in a post-apocalyptic steampunk world shattered by a mysterious asteroid. Players take on the role of mutants scavenging powerful crystal shards and legendary loot across dangerous dungeons, with a strong emphasis on endless progression, deep endgame systems, and theorycrafting-driven builds
In partnership with PlayPark, the publisher for Southeast Asia, CRG Studio is celebrating the Early Access announcement with a community reward campaign offering exclusive LAVA-themed cosmetic items. Players can unlock these rewards by pre-registering their email and wishlisting Crystalfall on Steam ahead of launch.
Built for players who love experimentation and long-term progression, Crystalfall features a big talent tree, loot-driven progression, and procedural skill systems. Skills themselves are lootable and come with their own procedural skill trees, which can be further customized through rarity upgrades and socketable items known as Skill Crests. Items feature alpha and omega affixes that modify base properties, adding an additional layer of complexity to the game’s itemization.

The game uses a classless character system, allowing players to freely shape their playstyle, from pistol-and-shield combat to dual-wielding steampunk staffs, and create powerful synergies between weapons, skills, and gear. At the start of Early Access, Crystalfall will include three classes, five campaign acts, early-stage endgame content, and in-game trading, with localization available in 11 languages.
With over 60,000 wishlists on Steam, Crystalfall is shaping up to be a go-to ARPG for players seeking an old-school experience that balances level of entry with the depth demanded by hardcore theorycrafters.
