Red Dead Redemption 2 UPDATE: Big news ahead Red Dead Online Summer DLC | Gaming | Entertainment

0

The next Red Dead Redemption 2 Online update could be just days away from being announced by Rockstar Games.

That’s the latest prediction made, albeit, based on guesswork surrounding how Rockstar Games launch their DLC in 2019.

As many fans will already, the next Red Dead Online update is set to expand the game in new ways, allowing gamers to take on one of three roles.

This is just the first step in Rockstar’s plans to change the game and make it feel more like an RPG experience.

Players will soon be able to open their own trading camps, which could eventually expand into exciting new areas of business.

But before any of this happens, we need to get that big Summer expansion on PS4 and Xbox One.

And one Rockstar Games tracker has made a prediction on when we might hear more news on the subject.

This remains purely guesswork as it’s based on how the development team chose to release the recent GTA 5 Casino expansion.

Rockstar tracker and dataminer TezFunz shared this prediction on Twitter, writing: “Just a guess, Rockstar extended the same event (two weeks event) in GTAO before the release of a new update.

“They are doing the same to RDO, August 20th could be the release date for the summer update.”

This was posted on August 13, so it seems like we probably won’t receive the big update without some kind of new trailer covering what’s new.

Something like this could be posted in the coming days, especially considering it’s also Gamescom, a great time for announcements.

So fans should keep an eye out for new Red Dead Redemption 2 information this week, followed by a launch before the end of August (22, 29).

Until that happens, gamers on PS4 and Xbox One will continue to receive updates in the form of new bonuses and rewards.

As mentioned above, the currently extended rewards are available until August 19, including the Land of Opportunities mission for Jessica LeClerk and Horley, which offer an additional 30% RDO$ and XP.

These have been active over the past two weeks and were launched alongside some other new bonuses for multiplayer fans.

It follows news regarding the launch of the Red Dead Redemption 2 Soundtrack.

The forthcoming vinyl release of The Music of Red Dead Redemption 2: Original Soundtrack is now available for limited pre-order at the Lakeshore Records Online Store.

It’s scheduled to launch on September 20 and is currently sold out, with more pre-order opportunities coming soon.

“The 2 x LP set comes pressed on 180-gram, translucent red vinyl inside a gatefold package with printed sleeves,” a message from Rockstar Games explains.

“Produced by 11-time Grammy Award winner Daniel Lanois, The Music of Red Dead Redemption 2: Original Soundtrack features music created exclusively for Red Dead Redemption 2 by a wide-range of award-winning artists including D’Angelo, Willie Nelson, Rhiannon Giddens and Josh Homme.”
