June 2025 — An independent team of developers is launching a unique project on Kickstarter — “Ninja’s Way: The Legacy of the Dragon”, a retro-style platformer for the classic Game Boy Color console. The game combines nostalgic 8-bit graphics with modern-level design, offering deep and engaging gameplay.
In Ninja’s Way, players embark on an exciting adventure alongside a young ninja who must find a map, reach the dragon, and take its heart. But it’s not that simple — the heart holds an unexpected surprise. Players will encounter diverse locations, numerous enemies and bosses, as well as carefully crafted levels featuring platforming and combat elements.
The game is developed with the original Game Boy Color hardware in mind and will be released both digitally (ROM) and on physical cartridges with unique artwork — a perfect option for collectors and retro fans alike.
