MultiVersus Has Made Harley Quinn And Wonder Woman’s Outfits Less Revealing

The MultiVersus promo at McDonald’s has revealed new renders for all the fighters and notably made some outfits less revealing.

New character renders released as part of the MultiVersus and McDonald’s collaboration has revealed that Harley Quinn and Wonder Woman have both had their outfits changed to be a bit less revealing.

It goes without saying at this point, but 2023 was a pretty dreadful year for MultiVersus fans following the temporary shutdown of the game back in March. Although that was an Ultra Instinct Shaggy punch to the groin, things have slowly started looking up thanks to positive updates and teases from Player First Games and promises of new information finally being shared in the coming months.

Well, we’re just four days into 2024, and we’ve already got a bit of a glimpse at the future of MultiVersus thanks to a McDonald’s promo that just went live in certain European countries. Yesterday, the McDonald’s website updated to show off the promotion, which revealed a bunch of new renders for nearly all of the game’s roster, save for a few non-kid-friendly characters like Rick and Morty.

Although most characters have only seen minor changes to their art design in these new renders, there are two who have seen some pretty significant changes – Harley Quinn and Wonder Woman. As you can see from the updated renders shared by reliable MultiVersus insider MVSDonkDonk, both characters have had some pretty significant changes to their outfits that make them less revealing.

Comparing Harley Quinn’s new outfit to her old one shows that it’s more than just a slight colour change, as her midriff, upper thigh, and chest have been completely covered up. It’s the same story for Wonder Woman, as she now has new bits of armour that cover up her legs completely, and her shield has conveniently been placed in front of her chest.

NOTE: Garnet’s design has also been tweaked somewhat, with the most notable difference being that she no longer has such sharp-looking spikes at the end of her gauntlets.

The tweaks are a little strange, but they make sense when you consider what the renders are being used for – a McDonald’s promotion, and one that’s being used to sell Happy Meals at that. We’ll have to wait and see if these designs are what’s going to be used for MultiVersus going forward, but it seems more likely that it’s just for this collaboration with McDonald’s and not a permanent change to the character designs.
