Surrounded by eight enemies at the start, Deadpool has one round to beat them all for his challenge mission in Marvel’s Midnight Suns.
As the first of the DLC characters in Marvel’s Midnight Suns, gamers will naturally be racing to see what Deadpool is capable of. As a hybrid between tank and damage-dealing, Deadpool is a welcome addition for tougher difficulties. However, players only really unlock Deadpool’s full potential after beating his challenge mission.
These challenges aren’t like most battles in the game. There are modifiers to the cards played, redraws, and moves. The cards received are preset and defined. There is usually only one way to beat this challenge in Marvel’s Midnight Suns and this is the way to do it for Deadpool.
Beating Fourth Wall
- Use the Spread the Love card on opponent 3 and chain the shot to opponent 5.
- Use a Death From Above card on opponent 5.
- Use the Pain Pinata card on opponents 4, 6, and 7.
- Use the Spread the Love card on opponent 7 and chain the shot to opponent 1.
- Use the Death From Above card on opponent 4.
- Use the Mag Dump card on opponent 2.
- Use the Burning Sensation card on opponent 8.
Opponent 8 can only be killed by the Legendary card gained from killing enemies 1 through 7, so ignore that one behind Deadpool until the end. For now, use Spread the Love on opponent 3 (giving Deadpool another Spread the Love card) and chain the next shot to opponent 5.
Now it’s time to finish off opponent 5 with a Death From Above card. This gives Deadpool the Pain Pinata card. Now the opponents left have no more cards on them.
Use the Pain Pinata card on the group of right enemies, numbers 4, 6, and 7. This will kill opponent 6 and leave the other two wounded.
Use the second Spread the Love card on opponent 7 and chain the next shot over to opponent 1. This will kill both of them.
With only two of the minions remaining, use the final Death From Above card on the opponent on the right (number 4), killing him.
For the final minion, number 2, use the last remaining card, Mag Dump, to finish it off.
This will place a copy of the Burning Sensation card into Deadpool’s hand. Use it on opponent 8 to win the challenge.
Winning this challenge will give Deadpool a copy of his legendary card to use permanently. Edit the deck to add the card and get some practice with it.
