Marvel’s Midnight Suns: Best Deck for Deadpool

0

The legendary Marvel mercenary can be spectacular or a total dud in Marvel’s Midnight Suns depending on how well players build his deck.

Deadpool is a tough character to get right in Marvel’s Midnight Suns. He needs to kill enemies to deal more damage yet enemies require damage to be killed, putting him in an awkward spot in the early rounds. With some bright thinking, players can accelerate this process.

Be aware that this is only an opinion based on experience in Marvel’s Midnight Suns. The game can be beaten on the hardest difficulties with many builds for Deadpool, this is just one effective way to do it. Players who have other preferences and experience success should feel validated with their decisions.

Given the choice been tank and damage-dealing, Deadpool doesn’t compete with the other tanks even in an ideal build so he’s best used focused on damage. The goal is to get his charges of En Fuego high by having him kill enemies. Be warned that he can only gain one charge per card and environmental attacks don’t count toward building up the meter.

The deck is extreme Heroism positive, generating much more than it uses. During the first round, focus on mostly supporting allies and having them build up the En Fuego meter with the upgraded All Together Now+ card. Then Deadpool starts to hit like a truck, putting a quick end to a long campaign.

After knocking out Deadpool’s challenge mission, players will get access to his legendary card. Burning Sensation deals double damage for every stack of En Fuego; when Deadpool is at a full meter, this just wipes out any single target.

For even more power in combat, modding these cards requires a bit of luck for an ideal advantage, but any boost at all can’t hurt.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns is available now for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
