The Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 6 update will introduce a new SMG to the game, so here’s how you can unlock the ISO 9mm.
The Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 6 update will be the final season before Modern Warfare 3 is launched and integrated into the battle royale.
The devs have packed the season full of content, from brand-new Operators to the Haunting event, which promises the return of Zombie Royale. There are also four new weapons arriving for the season, with three landing at launch on September 27.
The ISO 9mm SMG is included in the new additions, so for those interested, here’s how you can unlock the weapon once the season goes live.
How to unlock ISO 9mm in MW2 & Warzone
Players can unlock the ISO 9mm for free in the Season 6 Battle Pass at launch, and while we don’t yet know which Sector it will be in, we expect it to be around the Sector F8 mark, either higher or lower.
It shouldn’t be too long to unlock so long as you are consistently playing the game. The weapon is described on the Call of Duty blog as a “rapid-fire SMG,” which also has great “maneuverability and exceptional steadiness.”

As it’s an SMG, you’ll want to keep it close range, as the ISO 9mm “favors speed over long-range lethality.” As the weapon handles well, you’ll have options when it comes to attachments, and can either choose to go all in on speed and bring some range back in with a muzzle or barrel attachment.
We’ll have to wait and see whether or not the ISO 9mm can make a lasting impression on the SMG meta in Warzone, Modern Warfare 2, and even Modern Warfare 3.
