Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone Season 6 will introduce brand-new weapons to the games, including the DOOM Chainsaw, so here’s how you can unlock it.
Like any new Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone season, a bunch of new content is arriving in Season 6, which is the final season before Modern Warfare 3 is released.
As well as new Operators and the return of The Haunting event for Halloween, players are also getting some new weapons in Season 6, including a new Assault Rifle and SMG.
One of the most interesting additions alongside the Dual Kamas is the DOOM Chainsaw. This new melee weapon has been taken straight out of the Legendary FPS game DOOM and added into Call of Duty for Season 6 of MW2 and Warzone.

How to unlock the DOOM Chainsaw in Warzone & MW2
You can unlock the DOOM Chainsaw by purchasing its bundle in the in-game store when it arrives “mid-season,” which we suspect will be the Season 6 Reloaded update halfway through the season.

The DOOM Chainsaw is part of The Haunting event in Season 6, and according to the Call of Duty blog, it will come alongside the “Super Shotgun” Blueprint in the DOOM bundle. Once we have more information on this bundle, including its price, we’ll be sure to update this section.
The DOOM Chainsaw is a melee weapon that’s described as a “variant of the Pickaxe,” but those familiar with the FPS franchise will know how legendary and brutal the chainsaw can be, so it’s much more than that.
Sporting a bloody look, you’ll be shredding up the battlefield with this melee weapon in no time once it drops mid-season.
