Now imagine if you got four of your best friends at a table, sat them down, and had each of them write what those letters could mean to them. If you’ve played any type of adult party game before, you know exactly where this is going—and let us just say, it’s gonna get outrageous real quick.
Acrosin JUST launched on Kickstarter and is sure to quickly become a party favourite. With cards that prompt each player to create the best acronym and submit them to a judge, it tests how well you know your friend’s sense of humour and your own wit!
In May 2011 Cards Against Humanity lit a fire in a new sector of tabletop games – this is often referred to as “Adult Party Games.” Although Acrosin can fit into the category it is unique as the game can be used with any group since the “dirtiness” level is determined by whoever is playing it.
The gameplay is simple: one person is the Acrojudge for the round. They draw a card, read it, and place it in the centre of the table. All other players use the provided paper and pencils to craft a diabolical acronym from the letters on the card.
Once all the answers are submitted, the Acrojudge reads them aloud and awards the winner. That player keeps the card, and the Acrojudge moves one player to the left. A player wins the game once they reach 6 or 9 cards.
The game is the first we’ve seen from TikTok star @WillyWonkaTikTok—and who better to launch a game like this than the man who rose to internet fame doing outrageous dances and gestures dressed as the iconic chocolatier?
The game is live on Kickstarter now, with early backers getting the best game on the deal and priority shipping for its estimated delivery date of December 2022.
