Here’s all the latest games arriving to and departing from Xbox Game Pass.
Xbox Game Pass is growing once more in September 2024, with a range of new games arriving for keen players of strategy sims, sports games, and those who love trains (we know you’re out there). While the list of new titles is relatively humble, it’s made grander by a day one launch, and a bunch of additional DLC updates and extras for subscribers.
As in most months, there are also some departures on the way, but that’s how it goes with Xbox Game Pass. Games arrive, enjoy their time in the sun, and then depart with a brief wave.
Xbox Game Pass: New games for September 2024
Here’s all the games coming to Xbox Games Pass in the first half of September 2024:
- Age of Mythology: Retold (Xbox Series X/S, PC, Cloud) – Available 4 September: “Age of Mythology: Retold goes beyond history to a mythical age where gods, monsters, and humans collide … Secure your domain, command legendary monsters, and call upon the power of the gods to crush your enemies.”
- Expeditions: A MudRunner Game (Console, PC, Cloud) – Available 5 September: “Embark on scientific expeditions with this new off-road adventure from the creators of MudRunner and SnowRunner. Lead research missions, drive a variety of all-terrain vehicles, use high-tech tools, and manage your camp and crew to ensure your success in the wild.”
- Riders Republic (Console, PC, Cloud) – Available 11 September: “From snowy mountains to arid canyons, roam free in a huge open world comprised of iconic U.S. national parks. Grab your bike, skis, snowboard, or wingsuit and explore a sports paradise where the rules are yours to make.”
- Train Sim World 5 (Console, PC, Cloud) – Available 17 September: “Take on new challenges and new roles as you master the tracks and trains of iconic cities across three new routes. Immerse yourself in the ultimate rail hobby and embark on your next journey.”
Valorant, Dead by Daylight, and Ark also now have new DLC to play, with Xbox Game Pass subscribers either getting this free, or at a major discount. You can see details of these deals on Xbox Wire.
Xbox Game Pass: Game departures for September 2024
The following titles will leave Xbox Game Pass on 15 September:
- Ashes of Singularity
- FIFA 23
- Payday 3
- Slime Rancher 2
- SpiderHeck
- You Suck At Parking
As always, you’ll be able to purchase these games at a discount if you’re keen to keep playing them after they depart Xbox Game Pass.
