The Game Is Now Targeting A Fall 2024 Release.
Paradox Interactive has announced Vampire: The Masquerade- Bloodlines 2 is now being developed by The Chinese Room. In a press release, the publisher said that the studio, currently under Sumo Digital, will be creating a high-quality action RPG with their avid experience in storytelling. The Chinese Room is an award-winning studio with multiple games in its portfolio including Everybody’s Gone To The Rapture and Dear Esther.
An official trailer for the game was released that showcased the story and world of the game.

Vampire: The Masquerade- Bloodlines 2 Finally Returns
For the first time in the series, the player will take the role of an elder vampire. The game takes place in Seattle where vampires struggle for survival and supremacy. In Bloodlines 2, the player will meet compelling characters, build complex relationships along with engaging in combat and hunting for prey. They will also be mindful of their surroundings throughout the game.
Bloodlines 2 was originally developed by Hardsuit Labs before Paradox Interactive announced that the studio wasn’t leading development on the game and losing the 2021 release date in the process. After that Paradox had been quiet for a while until now. The Chinese Room proposed to develop the game and Paradox were impressed by it.

According to Ed Daly, Studio Director at The Chinese Room, Bloodlines 2 is its most ambitious title to date and is planning on creating a game that ”honors the legacy of its predecessor while bringing its gameplay to the modern era.”

The gameplay for Bloodlines 2 is set to be revealed in January 2024 and a release window is set for the fall of the same year.
