Valorant Account Owners Look Into Patch Notes 5.09

0

Valorant developers apply light patch notes to fix a few bugs players have been experiencing before preparing for the bigger changes coming later in the year.

Move together and overwhelm them.

What To Expect in Patch Notes 5.09

The latest Valorant patch 5.09 notes have been applied to Riot’s most popular plant-the-bomb first-person-shooter online video game. Multiple agents have bugs that have been addressed while also applying an exciting change to Skye’s Seekers, which Valorant account owners may appreciate.

Patch 5.09 is the first sub-patch since the release of Valorant Episode 5 Act 3. Following the release of the latest Valorant Agent, Harbor, the update has revealed various bug fixes for the new Agent. Other Agents in the game also received fixes to provide their players with the best possible in-game experience.

It is expected that with the new Act being released recently, the first order of business is for Valorant to entirely focus on fixing bugs and glitches. Undoubtedly, some bugs have found their way into the game in the new update, so we do not expect any new content in this patch. Now that we got notes out of the way, keep reading for a complete rundown of the fixes released in patch 5.09.

Valorant 5.09 Patch Notes

Although the new update 5.09 does not feature many changes for the game, the bug fixes Riot developers have been aiming to fix with the patch will improve the gameplay experience for everyone when they are in-game. The Agent receiving most of the changes is Harbor, while several other agents have received bug fixes to improve their performance; agents like Yoru, Fade, Reyna, and even Sage.

After the Valorant Champions Istanbul 2022 and the release of Harbor, Riot has been focused on improving this Agents performance before the next pro-season Game Changers Championship kicks off. Here is the complete list of changes applied from update 5.09 from the official Valorant Patch Notes.

Agent Bug fixes

  • Valorant developers fixed the bug where Harbor’s special ability, Cascade, would sometimes disappear when a player looks away.
  • Valorant developers fixed the bug where when the player walks through Harbor’s special ability called Cove barrier does not blind players at the intended distance.
  • Valorant developers fixed the bug where Harbor’s special ability, High Tide, would have significant gaps upon casting it in special map locations.
  • Valorant developers fixed the bug where Harbor’s special ability, Reckoning’s Geysers, does not spawn on the area to concuss where the enemy player was standing.
  • Valorant developers fixed the bug where Yoru can still enter his Dimension Drift form when detained. He will now be detained appropriately to interrupt the cast.
  • Valorant developers fixed the bug where Fade’s abilities to case Haunt and Seize projectiles are dropped while she is suppressed.
  • Valorant developers fixed the bug where Reyna can still auto-heal after a kill while entering her Empress form despite being Suppressed.
  • Valorant developers fixed the bug where Sage’s barrier could easily break when she walls herself into a corner.
  • Throughout the year, Riot has periodically improved Skye’s ultimate ability, Seekers. Making them more reliable and become more efficient when reaching their target.
    • Riot slightly changed how Skye’s Seekers navigated obstacles after getting a visual of their acquired target.
    • However, if the target becomes intangible when the Seekers reach their target, it will not debuff them. The patch focuses on Reyna while using her skill Dismissed and Yoru running in his Dimensional Drift form.
