Back in the early ’90s, Sega and Nintendo were bitter enemies, with their respective consoles fighting for dominance of living rooms all over the globe. There may be some of you who still consider this battle to be unfinished business, even in 2020, which is why My Arcade’s Super Retro Champ could be a remarkable product.

This bulky handheld plays SNES and Genesis / Mega Drive cartridges, finally uniting the two opposing formats after decades of war (we’ll conveniently ignore the fact that other consoles, like the Retron 5 and Retro Freak achieved this goal some time ago).

With a 7-inch screen, 5 hours of battery life and the ability to connect to your TV, the Super Retro Champ could be quite an interesting product – although even at over $100, we’re not sure it will be able to compete with the likes of the Analogue Super Nt and Mega Sg when it comes to emulation quality.
