Word of a new Fortnite crossover spreads, and if the leaks are confirmed, Epic Games’ title is getting a lot of new content.
A Fortnite leak suggests the game is crossing over with LEGO Ninjago. Fortnite is famous for its collaborations featuring celebrities and pop culture characters. This year, the game expanded its list by crossing over with Family Guy, Metal Gear, and other franchises.
Along with Fortnite Chapter 5, Epic Games has introduced new game modes such as LEGO Fortnite. LEGO Fortnite is a new experience where players survive by collecting resources, crafting items, and forming their own village of characters. Although it was released just a few weeks ago, LEGO Fortnite is already a hit. And a new leak indicates that even more exciting content is to come for Fortnite players.

Known leaker Shiina has revealed that Fortnite will have a collaboration with Ninjago later in the current season. According to information released by the Egyptian Fortnite Leaker dataminer and shared by Shiina, the crossover will feature Ninjago buildings, enemies, bosses, and “a lot of content” for LEGO Fortnite, Fortnite‘s new permanent mode. Although they didn’t give further details of the crossover, Shiina did mention the names of General Vex, the Blizzard Archers, and the Blizzard Sword Masters as part of the collab. Known as the Blizzard Samurai, this group of inhuman warriors was led by General Vex, who served as one of the antagonists in LEGO Ninjago season 11.

Shiina didn’t confirm the exact date of the Ninjago update for LEGO Fortnite, but players are already showing a lot of excitement about the idea. When asked if the crossover will release skins for the battle royale, Shiina simply said “We’ll see,” making everyone even more curious.
Ninjago is a toy line created by LEGO in 2011 that follows a group of ninjas fighting the forces of evil. In addition to the toys, Ninjago has been adapted for other media, including a game adaptation, The LEGO Ninjago Movie, and the TV series Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu and Ninjago: Dragons Rising. Considering how popular Ninjago is, it’s not hard to imagine the potential of this collab to attract the attention of Fortnite players and even those who don’t play the battle royale.
The potential collaboration with Ninjago, in particular, sets the precedent for Fortnite to receive other popular LEGO content in the future. With this, Epic Games continues to offer exciting content, leaving players excited to find out about Fortnite‘s next crossover.
