PlayStation gamers are just days away from finding out the latest PS Plus games being made available to download for free during December 2019.
There have been no hints so far on what might be announced but we do know the date they will be revealed on.
Sony has been confirming its big PS Plus news on the last Wednesday of the month throughout 2019, and there is no reason to believe this will change.
So fans only have to wait until November 27 to find out about the latest PS4 free games coming to consoles.
Until then, gamers can enjoy a new free game trial, courtesy of Sony and Ubisoft.
Gamers looking to try out a best-selling title can head over to the PlayStation Store and download Rainbow Six Siege.
As mentioned above, R6 will only be free-to-play for a few days, before revering back to normal price.
The trial will run until late on Sunday, November 24, and will include access to all of the maps, modes and Operators present in the full version.
It’s the perfect time to test out the hit shooter, even if you will be facing some a player base of pros.
The Free Weekend kicked off on November 21 and will be available to play until Monday, November 25, in the UK.
The times are as follows:
- PC: November 21st 13:00 UTC – November 25th 20:00 UTC.
- XBOX ONE: November 21st 08:01 UTC – November 25th 05:00 UTC.
- PLAYSTATION 4: November 21st 13:00 UTC – November 25th 13:00 UTC.
During this period, gamers will be able to play for free and also buy the game at a discounted rate.
And the free event also coincides with the game’s latest event. the Rainbow Six Siege La Casa De Papel crossover event is now live and includes the new Money Heist Mode.
This will be available for as long as the game is free-to-play and comes with a range of new cosmetic items.
“There’s a situation going on at the Bank. A hostage was taken, and it’s up to you to ensure their safety,” a message from Ubisoft explains.
“The heist is ongoing, and the tension is coming to a head. For Rainbow Six: Siege’s first collaboration with Netflix, we are bringing you a short event themed after their Spanish-language series, Money Heist.”
Money Heist is based on the classic Hostage match, where Attackers and Defenders must fight over a Hostage dressed in the series’ iconic mask and red jumpsuit.
As an added bonus, Hibana and Vigil are also equipped with the same look, should you pick them to play with. Another game will also be available to play for free this weekend on PS4 and PS4 Pro consoles.
GearBox has announced their own event, which allows gamers to download Borderlands 3 and test it out at no extra charge.
The free trial ends on November 25, at around 5pm in the UK, with GearBox adding: “To play Borderlands 3 for free on your Xbox One or PlayStation 4 you need to find the standard edition of Borderlands 3 in your platform’s online store, then click the “Try Free Demo” button to begin the download.
“Note that this button will not appear on the store pages for the Deluxe and Super Deluxe editions of the game.”
