PS Plus games in November 2019 have been given the perfect reason to download one of the PS4’s big free game hits.
While not to everyone’s taste, free-to-play Battle Royale titles continue to do well on consoles.
And that’s proven no different for one of 2019’s big titles, Apex Legends, which was developed in secret by Respawn Entertainment.
The game doesn’t require a PS Plus membership to play online and continues to prove popular into its third season.
But now PlayStation Plus fans in November have a new reason to check out Apex Legends.
A new bonus pack has been put together exclusively for those with a current PS Plus subscription.
New deals are offered each month for different games that don’t require a PS4 PS Plus membership to play.
It’s one of the lesser-known benefits of the popular Sony service and usually includes cosmetic items.
And the new Apex Legends PlayStation Plus Play Pack is now available to download from the PlayStation Store.
It includes a number of items, all of which are designed not to affect gameplay, or provide an advantage.
This pack includes six items total, including two character skins (Pathfinder & Bangalore), two weapon skins (Spitfire & Triple Take), and two banners (Pathfinder & Bangalore).
These items will remain available to download for several weeks but will probably be replaced some time in the future.
It should also be noted that unlike free games like Nioh and Outlast, these items will remain part of your account forever.
And as always, even if this latest deal doesn’t interest you, more will be added in the future by Sony and their partners.
Apex Legends is currently celebrating Season 3 and is available to download for free from the PS Store.
The new item pack launches as fans wait to find out what Sony has planned for 2019’s PS4 Black Friday deals.
Recent years have seen the tech giant host discounts on its PlayStation Store for games, as well as deals on hardware.
News of the new Black Friday deals could be revealed by Sony as soon as the start of next week, around November 18.
However, it should also be noted that Sony has yet to share its plans for 2019. It seems very likely that something new will be offered though.
Fans are also hoping for a discount on PS Plus membership as they saw in 2018, and always proves a popular addition.
Some deals have already been launched on other retail websites, with eBay offering physical PlayStation Plus cards at a discount. And as we get closer to Black Friday – November 29 – more big gaming deals are expected to be announced.
Microsoft announced their deals earlier this week and Sony is expected to follow suit with offers on PS4 games and hardware. Last year’s software sales began on the PlayStation Store on November 15 and ran until November 27, 2018.
This included deals on Marvel’s Spider-Man, Red Dead Redemption 2, as well as 50% off titles like Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and God of War.
PlayStation Black Friday deals have been running since as early as 2010, with 2012 offering a great PS Vita bundle. One of the most eye-catching deals currently confirmed for 2019 includes a PS4 bundle from Best Buy.
The US retailer is expected to launch a big Black Friday deal on a 1TB PS4 with God of War, The Last of Us Remastered and Horizon Zero Dawn.
The thing that will make this special is that gamers will be able to purchase this console bundle for under $200.
