Here’s everything new coming to the game soon.

Palworld developer Pocketpair has celebrated the first anniversary of the game with the announcement of its 2025 roadmap, detailing new features set to arrive in the coming months. Despite the company currently facing a major lawsuit from The Pokemon Company, it remains dedicated to Palworld‘s future expansion, with plenty on the way for loyal players.

As detailed, features on the way include:

  • Co-op crossplay for players on different platforms
  • World transfers for Pals
  • A new World Tree / Ending scenario
  • New ways to strengthen and improve Pals
  • Various new content, such as new Pals and technologies
  • New game collaborations, including the previously-announced one with Terraria

Essentially, Palworld is going bigger and better, with major features including new story content, and plenty of brand-new Pals to catch and train. Further to these new features, players can also expect improvements to “world object placement, base Pals, optimisation and UX.”

With Pocketpair currently gearing up for the full release of the game, improvements and tweaks will be made throughout 2025. At this stage, an exact date for Palworld‘s early access exit hasn’t been revealed, but we do expect to hear more on that later this year.

“We’ve been updating the game since the start of Early Access, and we’ll continue to update Palworld as we prepare for the official release!” Pocketpair said. “We look forward to your continued support for Palworld in its second year.”

Palworld soundtrack released online

In addition to releasing its 2025 roadmap, the Palworld team has also launched a range of other initiatives in celebration of the game’s first anniversary. This includes the release of the full Palworld soundtrack, which is now streaming for free via YouTube.

The other major initiative launched is a fan-voted character popularity poll. All players and fans are invited to take part in this poll, which aims to crown the most popular Pal of the game. (Our vote is on Cremis.) Those keen to take part in the poll can now vote via the Pocketpair website.

As for those promised new updates, it’s best to stay tuned for more, as Pocketpair gears up for a big year.
