The Tombs of Amascut is a new raid in Old School RuneScape. This guide will give a general overview to help you gain items that are worth a lot of OSRS gold.

A general overview of what to expect from the new Raid.

The newest raid for Old School RuneScape has dropped and it features some tough bosses and a lot of new mechanics. This guide will give you a general idea of what to do and what to expect. Tombs of Amascut has a lot of bosses and you will need to know their specific strategy if you want to take them down easily. The final reward can be worth a lot of OSRS GP as well.

There is plenty to cover, so let’s not waste any time and get into everything you need to know.

The Nexus

When starting the Tombs of Amascut raid, players will find themselves in the Nexus. This area works as a small hub to go to the challenge room of your choosing. Once a challenge room and its corresponding boss are defeated, players will be sent back here. They will be restored to full health and have any status removed. You are then free to choose the next challenge room. Occasionally, players will receive supply drops here as well.

Four Paths

There are four paths or challenge rooms that the group needs to complete before they can move on to the final bosses. The order you choose to do them in is up to you. Each challenge room has a boss that needs to be defeated to move on.

Path of Crondis

The main objective of this room is to water a plant until it reaches full size. The amount of water needed to make the plant reach full size depends on how many people are in the raid. To water it, players will need to pick up a water container and fill it with water from the nearby waterfall. Though while trying to water the plant, players will be met with spikes, poisonous traps, and crocodiles. If you get hit by any of these, the water in your bucket will lower by 50%. The crocodiles will prioritize the plant and try to reduce its size, so take them out quickly. Once that is done, you can move to the boss of this room.

Zebak, Guardian of Crondis

Zebak is a massive crocodile that has a variety of attacks to look out for. He has a standard melee attack that applies bleeding to any players that are hit. He also has a ranged attack that will crash down rocks and a magic attack that sends down reb orbs. Zebak also has a massive roar attack that does massive damage and a wave move that can push players back if not dodged. Once you learn the mechanics, you should take him down very quickly.

Path of Scabaras

This path will focus on your brain power and your ability to solve puzzles. This room has little combat, if done right, you shouldn’t have any problems here at all. There are two paths in this room and a total of 5 puzzles. Solving all 5 puzzles will allow you to face the boss of this room.

Kephri, Guardian of Scabaras

Kephri is a scarab that has a lot of magic and ranged attacks. She can also summon adds to help her. Kephri and most of her scarab minions are weak to stab. Protect from Magic is essential in this fight. This boss has a lot of magic attacks that deal big damage in a large radius. Kehpri can replenish her shield by using her minions, be sure to take them out as quickly as possible.

Path of Het

Another room that doesn’t require much combat, but focuses on puzzles and evasion. You need to use mirrors around the room to guide the light to the statue in the middle of the room. Doing so will allow you to “mine it” until destroyed. If you don’t destroy it in one go, the room will reset and you will need to do another puzzle and then finish it off. There are no enemies here, but some shadow orbs roam around that can damage you.

Akkha, Guardian of Het

This boss has some interesting mechanics. Akkha will have protection spells active for two attack types. You will need to use the other to damage him. He will change this every few attacks. Players will also need to be aware of the four quadrants on the ground. These can modify the boss’s attacks and damage you. For the most part, dipping in and out is the best plan when fighting Akkha.

Path of Apmeken

During this room, players will need to work together doing certain actions, while also fighting off waves of enemies. One player will have a mechanic attributed to them that shows them what action needs to be done. They will need to tell the group what to do. Complete all the waves while doing this will let you fight the next boss.

Ba-Ba, Guardian of Apmeken

Ba-Ba is an undead baboon. This fight requires some knowledge of the mechanics and communications. Even though Ba-Ba has many stage interactions, Ba-Ba only uses melee attacks. Players need to watch out for her AoE attack, rock slam special, and rolling boulder specials. She can also summon extra minions that will attack from range as well. As long as you dodge her attacks, you should be able to defeat her in a couple of minutes.

Final Bosses

Once all rooms are completed, you will be able to move on to the final bosses. Tumeken’s Warden and Elidinis’ Warden are large sentinels. This boss fight consists of a few different phases. The first phase is all about disrupting the orbs trying to get to one of the bosses. Players will need to take down the Obelisk before moving on.

The next phase is simple. You will fight the Warden based on the last phase. This fight is somewhat similar to one of the challenge room bosses. He will have 2 protection prayers and you can only damage him with the available one. The final phase will have the warden gaining new attacks and mechanics. You will have to take down shadows of other bosses and deal with some energy siphons. It’s not complicated and with a full group, this boss should be easy to take down. You can now go and collect your rewards and hope it is something worth a lot of OSRS gold.

Invocations

Invocations are modifiers for the raid. This can drastically change how the rooms and bosses play out, at least statistically. These usually put you and your group at a disadvantage. However, doing so will increase the raid’s difficulty level. The difficulty level determines how good your rewards are if the raid is completed. This is a good way to get the best OSRS items that are worth a lot of OSRS gold.

Conclusion

I hope this guide was helpful. If you have the right team, this raid should not be a problem. It may take one or two tries at first, but you will pick up on the mechanics very quickly. If you are lucky, you will be rewarded with one of the unique OSRS items, these are worth millions of OSRS gold. Some of these Old School RuneScape items can also be upgraded, making them even more valuable. These OSRS items are worth it, so find a decent group and take your time through the Tombs of Amascut.
