Nintendo has shared a list of the top 15 most-downloaded Switch eShop games of May 2020 in Europe, and Animal Crossing: New Horizons has been knocked off the top spot for the first time since launch.
Yes, Nintendo’s cuddly life sim has been dominating these monthly charts ever since it arrived in March, but this month’s crown goes to NBA 2K20. It might sound like quite the surprise at first, but remember that the game was reduced to just £2.49 / 2,99€ for a while in Europe – a whopping 95% off the normal retail price.
You can check out the full list below. It’s based on the number of Nintendo eShop downloads (so no physical sales) in European territories during the whole month:
