Disney Dreamlight Valley players have the chance to snag some limited-time, gaming-themed decorations by watching the game on Twitch this weekend.

Players of Gameloft’s colorful, kid-friendly Disney Dreamlight Valley looking to spruce up their digital domicile will have the chance to grab some limited-time accessories this weekend as Twitch Drops return to the Disney-inspired life simulator. Developers of the popular early access title recently released footage showing off some of the new features arriving next month with the release of Update 5 for Disney Dreamlight Valley.

First released for consoles and PC in Fall of 2022, Disney Dreamlight Valley is a life simulation game that takes heavy inspiration from Nintendo’s Animal Crossing games. Though still in early access, Disney Dreamlight Valley has already gained a dedicated fanbase drawn in by the appeal of interacting with some of the most iconic characters from Disney’s long history. When they’re not carrying out tasks for the heroes and villains that inhabit the titular valley, Disney Dreamlight Valley players can decorate their homes and the world around them with a variety of different items. These items, which include furniture as well as clothing designs and outfits, can be unlocked by completing quests or spending the in-game currency, Star Coins.

A new post from the official Disney Dreamlight Valley account on Twitter has revealed that players will be able to unlock some limited-time item bundles this weekend by watching some of the game’s most popular streamers on Twitch. Telling gamers to “R-G-Be prepared for our next major update,” the picture shows off two gaming-themed bundles that will be available as part of Disney Dreamlight Valley Twitch drops beginning at 6 AM Eastern on May 19. The first bundle of in-game items includes a gaming desk and a pair of headphones while the second features a gaming backpack alongside a keyboard, mouse, and monitor. Reflecting the punny wording of the Tweet, all of the items are adorned with multicolored RGB lighting.

The full details linked in the post state that players interested in getting their hands on the limited-time items will need to register on a special Twitch Drops tab on the Disney Dreamlight Valley website and then connect it with their Twitch account. Gamers will need to watch for at least 60 minutes to unlock each bundle, and a full list of participating streamers is included alongside the details on how to participate. The first bundle will be available to Twitch viewers until 11:59 PM Eastern on May 20, with drops for the second bundle beginning a minute later at midnight and continuing through May 22.

This latest round of Twitch drops looks set to give fans of Disney Dreamlight Valley even more colorful and creative ways to customize their homes. And while redecorating an in-game house to look more like a real-world gaming room may not be quite as amusing as the player who turned a Disney Dreamlight Valley house into a train car, these colorful RGB accessories are sure to make a welcome addition to many players’ digital dwellings.

Disney Dreamlight Valley is available now on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
