NBA 2K19 update 1.08 is out now and includes some notable bugfixes.

Patch 8 weighs in at around 7GB on PS4 and Xbox One and is supposed to be available to download now on consoles.

However, it appears that some NBA 2K19 fans are unable to access the required update right now and may have to wait until a little later when server strain has been reduced.

There are also issues with fans not being able to update their games on Xbox One, possibly due to an ongoing issue affecting Xbox Live.

No new outage report has been posted on the official 2K social streams, so hopefully, these problems are not widespread and will calm down quickly.

PS4 owners are also reportedly facing issues updating their games, with servers reportedly showing very long download times.

A similar update is planned for Nintendo Switch and PC but might not be available at this time.

Like with past updates, today’s NBA 2K19 changes include tweaks to how certain players look.

A number of players have received new Face/Hair/Tattoo updates, including for Derrick Rose, Michael Beasley, Zach Lavine, Rodney McGruder, Willie Cauley-Stein, and Richaun Holmes.

Other cosmetic items appear to have been added but are not part of the official patch notes supplied by 2K.

Today’s NBA 2K19 patch notes also list a number of important bugfixes that should make playing the game easier.

According to the update notes, users can now edit their lineups on the loading screen again.

The official NBA 2K19 patch notes shared by the development team can be found below but may not include all the smaller fixes deployed today.
