While not officially announced, MW2 & Warzone Season 5 Reloaded will likely release on Wednesday, August 30, 2023.
This is the most probable date, as previous Reloaded updates have landed precisely four weeks after the Season launched.

New Map
- DRC – Zone 1
- The map can be found near the Visitor Center, nestled in the shadow of Building 21. It is a compact map emphasizing rapid combat, encouraging players to utilize shortcuts, outflank opponents, and engage in continuous action.
New Modes
- Faceoff (4v4)
- Faceoff already features in MW2, but each team has gained an operator to make a 4 versus 4. Participate in game modes such as Team Deathmatch and Kill Confirmed across the complete roster of Gunfight maps in Modern Warfare II.
- Gunfight Snipers
- A Gunfight variant where you equip yourself with your preferred sniper or marksman rifle and leave behind your Secondary, Tacticals, and Lethals.
- Armored Royale
- Join forces with your team in a unique Battle Royale experience where you’ll descend onto the battlefield in your own MRAP.
- It’s your responsibility to utilize, reinforce, and mend this massive vehicle with its turret, protective armor, and mobile Buy Station.
- Meanwhile, engage in combat against opponents who command their colossal trucks, creating an intense clash of armored giants.
- While the Season 5 Blog states this mode drops “In-Season,” under the details for the MRAP, information contradicts this, saying, “It is mostly available at the start of a mode coming out at mid-season.”
New Operators
- 21 Savage
- 21 Savage is coming to MW2 and Warzone, joining Nicki Minaj and Snoop Dogg in the Hip Hop bundles. At the moment, we only have a silhouette of the rapper.
- Mace
- Modern Warfare (2019) Operator Mace is returning. While his Operator skin also only features as a silhouette, we do know what he previously looked like.
