Mario Kart Tour release time: Here’s when Mario Kart is coming out on Android and iOS | Gaming | Entertainment

Mario Kart Tour is coming to Android and iOS this week, and we now know how long gamers will have to wait to download it on the day.

According to the latest news from the Mario Kart team, the new game should be going live on the Google Play and Apple App Stores at around the same time.

And it might even be available to download before the allotted release date later this week.

But Mario Kart Tour servers and gameplay won’t be going live until a specific time on September 25.

Mario Kart Tour is scheduled to be released on Android and iOS Platforms on Wednesday, September 25.

The launch date was confirmed weeks ago by Nintendo and should mean no last-minute changes or delays.

And since this announcement was shared, we have also learnt the exact time Mario Kart Tour will become playable.

According to the latest news, Mario Kart Tour will be available to play at 9am in the UK on September 25.

This means an earlier time of 1am PST, if you live in the United States.

“Mario Kart Tour is scheduled to launch around 1am PT/ 8am UTC on 9/25, a message from the MKT support team reads.

“You may be able to download the app from the App Store or Google Play Store before then, but the game won’t be playable until the launch time. Thank you for your patience and happy racing.”

The good news is that Mario Kart Tour will be free to download and start on iOS and Android on September 25.

And its long term success could rely on how microtransactions are used to support and profit from the fanbase.

It has also been confirmed that Mario Kart Tour will require a Nintendo Account to play.

Gamer can create one for free, so they can start racing right away when the game releases.

This can be done now and will remove one of the steps you will need to complete before playing the full game later this week.

Mario Kart Tour stays true to many of the known franchise formulae, although changes have been made.

Players will need to collect drivers, like Mario, as well as karts and gliders which can be used on familiar tracks, including new takes on classic courses.

City courses are also a new addition, bringing special in-game event courses inspired by real-world locations during specific time periods at launch and beyond.

“For the first time ever in a Mario Kart game, players can drive past giant Warp Pipes while drifting through a New York-inspired cityscape, all with the swipe of a finger,” said Nick Chavez, Nintendo of America’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

“Whether you’re an experienced Mario Kart pro or just getting your Mushroom Kingdom driver’s license, Mario Kart Tour is a game for everyone that brings some of Nintendo’s most beloved characters into the hands of players around the world.”
