Leaked Screenshot Of GTA 6 Unveils Enormous Map

The circulation of a leaked screenshot purportedly depicting the expansive map of Vice City in the upcoming GTA 6 has caught the attention of many.

While Rockstar Games has yet to officially confirm the location of the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto sequel, reliable sources indicate that it will take place in the Florida-based Vice City, as well as its surrounding areas. This information was further corroborated by a substantial leak last year, which included an early build of the game being made available online.

A substantial amount of media, including raw gameplay footage, surfaced online, providing in-depth insights into the game’s content. In recent times, this footage and screenshots have been regaining popularity for various reasons. The latest media leak to resurface is a screenshot featuring one of the two protagonists with downtown Vice City visible in the background, which highlights the massive scale of the game’s map.

The Reddit user notes that if this were GTA 5’s Los Santos, being this far from the downtown area would take you beyond the metropolitan boundary. Therefore, it can be inferred that Vice City’s map is going to be impressively massive.

It’s worth noting that in reality, Los Angeles is significantly larger than Miami, so this disparity in map size between Vice City and Los Santos is not a matter of scale. Rather, it appears to be a result of differing levels of resources and ambition. While Los Santos should theoretically be larger than Vice City, Rockstar Games has not developed a new iteration of the former since 2013. Given the considerable advancements in technology over the past decade, it’s not unexpected to see Vice City’s map reportedly boasting a much larger size than its predecessor.
