So this week Game Geeks News are proud to bring you another amazing kickstarter project currently in the pipeline. Created by David Bollt of Asheville, NC. David is an artist and designer with a love of making unique and beautiful objects. He enjoys creating images that inspire people and ignite the imagination.
Professor Tate’s Traveling Roadshow appears in unexpected places and then vanishes without a trace. Night after night, the show is never the same twice. Every audience is dealt a different hand as the performers appear in a new sequence.
The gamblers, magicians, collectors, and other romantic souls who are called to discover Professor Tate’s Traveling Roadshow are forever changed by their experience.
When the sun comes up, the show is gone without a trace. The only proof that remains is this special deck of cards. Those who own them revisit the magic of that night whenever they shuffle and deal.
Both the Vintage and Classic decks will be printed only once. If Professor Tate’s Traveling Road Show ever comes back to town with a second printing, we’ll update the cards, deck, and tuck box to include new performers (while we’ll say goodbye to some beloved favourites). This deck of playing cards and a unique cast of characters will never be the same again.
With this Kickstarter project, David wanted to elevate one of his favourite artists. Richard Tate deserves encouragement and could use the support. Due to some health issues, he has been inactive as an artist. This deck is his first published project in a long time. When they created tattoo designs together, people fell in love. At tattoo conventions, David would meet dozens of people who proudly were wearing his art for the rest of their lives. Men had crushes on his characters and women identified with them. His work had a special impact on people.
So David thought, “it’s time to bring Richard back and reignite the joy he creates”. Obviously, David is a huge fan. If all goes well, David hopes to share more of his amazing and whimsical characters.
Backers of this deck will always be appreciated with some kind of special, early, and/or limited access to future cool stuff.
Each player must accept the cards life deals him or her; but once they are in hand, he or she alone must decide how to play the cards in order to win the game.

ABOUT THE DECK:
The cards are printed by USPCC with Air Cushion Finish, Fulfilled by Gambler’s Warehouse.
They arrive with a mirrored back design, custom aces, court cards, and jokers. Additional bonus cards are coming soon!
Risks and challenges:
Although they don’t expect any specific issues (and USPCC is in full operation) unforeseen delays in production or delivery during COVID are possible. They will keep you up-to-date as they make progress.
They’re working with Gambler’s Warehouse to ensure timely and accurate fulfilment. If any mistakes are made they’ll make sure you’re taken care of.
It’s possible (or even likely) that you may fall hopelessly in love with the cast of Professor Tate’s Traveling Road Show, so handle these cards with caution and play at your own risk.
Shipping Costs:
As an added incentive they’ll split it with you 50% – 50%. The shipping costs in the rewards are half of what they expect to pay. David and the team thought this would be better than pretending there’s free shipping, also better than sticking international backers with all the shipping costs and not charging US backers, so be sure to check out this kickstarter before it`s too late!.
