Dwarven Beard Games are a small team of board game fans with over 20 years of experience playing classic RPGs and almost 10 years creating and selling their own games on a small scale. Their goal is to provide you with something new, refreshing, and perhaps yet unseen in the gaming industry. There’s nothing new under the sun, however, they bet you’ll be pleasantly surprised!.
Gods and Heroes is a fast-paced battle card game, with Drafting and in-game Deck-Building for 1-4 players, which may last anywhere between 30-45 minutes for a Quick Play. It is a battle of strength and prestige between warring Gods and their subjects. Build Temples of worship to bolster your armies and weaken your foes. Let loose your mightiest Heroes and crush your enemies in the name of your chosen deity!
Victory goes to the one who destroys all enemy Temple Guardians. Gods and Heroes is Intense and full of strategy, Gods and Heroes will have you coming back for more!.
The Lore:
Gods and Heroes revolve around six primary Gods/Goddesses, who are the children of the Father God in the Realm of Eistria… In this most intriguing of realms, only one God/Goddess may rule at any one time, for a period of 100 years. If this balance is not kept, Eistria would surely be thrown into chaos and destruction.
The Father God, having grown weary of his rule, has retreated from the realm, His children left bewildered in the absence of His guidance. Lesser Gods/Goddesses now scramble to take the reins and bring their own unique flavour to Eistria.
However, despite being brothers and sisters who once worked together under the order of the Father, now clash and fight for their 100-year reign. Some in the name of goodness, others in the name of evil and death…
You represent one of the Gods/Goddesses to restore balance to the Realm of Eistria!

Dwarven Beard Games have already cleared all print costs for up to 100 six-player box sets (Light vs. Dark, Mystic vs. Warrior and Messenger vs. Twisted). Not to say that their printers cannot handle 1000’s of copies. Which they would be very appreciative of. What is most important is that Gods and Heroes are funded and can get out into the world! While at the same time proving to you that they can deliver a physical product.
Countless hours have been spent back and forth to get Gods and Heroes where they want it. From game mechanics to card design and layout.
There will be a few “Mini Stretch Goals” giving you a chance to open up more value for your investment, and this is exactly what it is!
