Draft Dawgs is about the fellowship of fantasy football.
So this week we are proud to bring you another amazing kickstarter project. Jimmy Wagner is the creator, producer, and mastermind behind draft dawgs. After 16 years with the same company, he made redundant and was sent on his way. During his newfound downtime, Jimmy created Draft Dawgs based on his actual Fantasy Football league!
Draft Dawgs is a fictional account about the crazy goings on of a fictional fantasy football league. This adult cartoon takes you through the ups and downs of a world that is very much like our own – one where life gets in the way of the characters’ love for football from responsibilities to societal dictates. Yet despite it all, an odd circle of ‘friends’ always find a way to indulge in their love for fantasy football by creating time, often at the expense of other important things such as family, work and school among others. And although they will never admit it, at least out loud, this band of misfits who come from different walks of life certainly enjoy their meets during the draft parties. It is an actual chance to connect one-on-one with people who do not depend on them!

Risks and challenges:
Some of the shows humor is based around insider information laughter. If you do not play fantasy football, you probably won`t get a lot of the jokes. The biggest risk is keeping the series fun and fresh. Jimmy loves the TV show “The League”, so would like going to model Draft Dawgs on that show with his own special fantasy football twist!
