Darth Vader has finally appeared on the Island and players can unlock him as a playable character in Fortnite Season 3.
The Sith Lord Darth Vader is finally in Fortnite as a part of Chapter 3 Season 3, and here’s how to unlock him. Darth Vader is arguably one of the most iconic characters in all of science fiction, let alone the Star Wars franchise.
Despite him being so iconic, and there being an abundance of Star Wars characters in Fortnite, Darth Vader has always been excluded. However, fans of both Star Wars and Fortnite are having their wishes granted as Darth Vader is finally coming to the Island. Here’s how to get him!
Darth Vader in Fortnite Season 3
Surprise, surprise! Darth Vader is the tier 100 skin in the Fortnite Season 3 Battle Pass. This means players will have to grind (or spend a lot of V-Bucks) to get the crossover skin.
The Season 3 Battle Pass works identically to the Season 1 and 2 Battle Pass meaning players will have to use Battle Stars. These allow players to purchase Battle Pass cosmetics in a custom order.
Regardless, players will still have to reach level 100 this season before they’re able to unlock Darth Vader. He requires players to have unlocked all other Battle Pass items before he can be purchased.
He can also be found on the map as an NPC and players can use his mythic red lightsaber with the ability to Force Choke and throw the weapon at enemies.
