A Blast from the Past is a mobile (possibly PC) game that encompasses Andrej Stojanovski, a detective in Grumpytown, working as a private eye-detective.
Game Geeks News is proud to bring you another great gaming project currently running on Fundrazr. Matija Ivanovic has set up a crowdfunding campaign to raise funds for the game A Blast from the Past. Everything’s going to plan, and Andrej is satisfied with his accomplishments. However, the town elections are coming up, and the current administration sucks. Recent events caused their reputation to be damaged. They put up a story about Andrej that he had worked against the police force in a classified case a few years ago. The public eye is sceptical of Andrej, so he goes on a mission to “de-rail” the administration to prevent them from being re-elected.
The game would be set in the town of Grumpytown. This is a small, working-class town, not a big city. When in town, go see your doctor, at the airport, downtown, the hospital, etcetera. You won’t have all the time you want to do everything, because you have cases to solve. A majority of the time, the town is going to be in the highlight, a part of the game. That’s why the developer chose a small town as the setting because you’ll explore more areas than just one. The weather changes, but it would only happen once per level, or mission, and wouldn’t be much of a factor.
You get to play as Andrej in 17 cases in total. (Each individual case has it’s own objectives, dialogues and action. They are subject to change and at $3,000 we will reveal more details about it.)
Case 1: Andrej finds out that the assistant who stole his work didn’t actually steal his work and just lost it.
Case 2: Andrej has to find out who’s behind the shootout at the bank and why they did it.
Case 3: Andrej is put in charge of finding a stolen part for an expensive aeroplane, but he needs someone else’s id-card in order for him not to get caught by a security system.
Case 4: Andrej has to find out what happened to her brother and get the documents that prove he’s dead in order for her mother to collect his insurance.
Case 5: The CEO of a company doesn’t know that his company is being used as a front for a crime, so Andrej needs to find out what’s really going on.
Case 6: Andrej has been hired by a lady who wants him to find out where her husband is, but she would only tell him about it if he helps with solving the case for her.
Case 7: It was a robbery in the bank, but the robber didn’t get away with the money. Andrej has to find out why the robber left it behind.
Case 8: Andrej takes a trip to an abandoned mansion, and he needs to figure out what happened to it’s previous owner.
Case 9: The lady searching for Andrej’s help just wants him to find out if she’s cheating on her husband, but she won’t tell Andrej how to get the admin pass…
Case 10: Andrej is being chased by crooks and his car is taken, but he finds out that an assailant wanted him dead and planted the logs that made him look like a serial killer so the police would put him in jail.
Case 11: Andrej finds out that someone planted guns in the house of a much-appreciated private investigator and tried to frame him for murder, but he’s innocent.
Case 12: Andrej is hired by a private eye named Joy who wants to find several hidden things in a house and solve a few puzzles.
Case 13: Andrej is trying to find a DA but he is not answering his phone. Andrej finds out that said DA is hiding something about his friend, who has been missing for a month.
Case 14: Andrej is being brought to court for a crime he didn’t commit, so he must find out how the evidence was manipulated to make him look like the killer.
Case 15: Andrej is working as a policeman, and his boss is the one who framed him. Andrej must figure out the reason before the courts take him out and the one who framed him is at large.
Case 16: Andrej finds out that his friend who was missing for a month is actually dead! But if that’s true, who is the dead body that belongs to him?
Case 17: Shortly after his appointment to the private investigative business, Andrej has been arrested by the chief of police, George “Grumpy” Murray, on charges of aiding a convicted criminal to escape jail. Grumpy Murray says that Andrej is a “rat who sold his soul for fame and fortune.”
A Blast from the Past already has a detailed story and some music already composed by Matija already. Matija will be teaming up with a friend who is an indie game developer to code the game once they have reached their first milestone.
