GAME has opened orders for the PlayStation 5 in the UK, although stock is selling out fast.
PS5 consoles are back in stock at GAME in the UK, but only for a brief time.
The GAME website is currently taking pre-orders for the PS5 console, which has been out of stock since before Christmas.
Fans are currently able to join a queue to purchase a PlayStation 5 console and/or bundle.
Bundles contain various games, including Demon’s Souls, Sackboy: A Big Adventure, and Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
The queue is approximately an hour-long, and there are no guarantees that the PS5 will still be in stock once you get to the front.
If you manage to get to the front of the queue, you’ll have 30 minutes to complete your order, GAME warns.
“You are in the GAME PlayStation queue. When it is your turn, you will have 30 minutes to complete your order. Thank you for your patience.”
As you can see from the GAME website, deliveries are expected on February 5, but you can pre-order now.
PlayStation 5 console prices start at £359 for the disc-free version and £450 for the disc-based edition.
While some fans are being informed that the console is out of stock, customers already in the queue have been able to order.
Even if the website does claim the console is sold out, it’s worth refreshing the page and checking back, as some people may pull out of ordering.
Hopefully, this is just the beginning of the PlayStation 5 re-stock, which began last week at Smyths.
Unfortunately, the consoles are still selling out fast, while scalpers and bots are also playing havoc.
Fans who do manage to pick up a console are in for a treat, because the PS5 is an impressive piece of kit.
Demon’s Souls, in particular, is a fantastic launch game for the system, which should go from strength to strength in the coming year.
Other upcoming PS5 games include Horizon Zero Dawn 2, the new Ratchet and Clank, as well as Bethesda’s Deathloop.
Deathloop looks like a really interesting release, especially with reports that the DualSense controller will replicate weapons jamming and whatnot.
