Fortnite Battle Royale players have got a glimpse of a brand new skin coming to the hit game thanks to new leaks.
Dataminers have been rummaging around the in-game files for Fortnite update 7.20.
And in the assets Fortnite leakers discovered a brand new skin coming to Battle Royale.
Popular Fortnite leaker Lucas7Yoshi in a post online leaked an upcoming tennis themed skin and back bling for Battle Royale.
The Fortnite volley girl skin was leaked ahead of it officially going live in the PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android, PC and Mac game.
The Fortnite skin features a character in a tennis outfit and comes with a tennis racket back bling.
The description for the leaked Fortnite skin reads: “If you get served, it’s not her fault”.
It’s believed that the Fortnite skin is being used to promote an upcoming eSports event.
Over the weekend the Fortnite Summer Smash tournament will be held at the Australian Open.
The Australian Open is the first tennis Grand Slam of the season and sees the world’s best players battling it out for one of the game’s biggest prizes.
The Fortnite Summer Smash will be held in Melbourne during the Australian Open finals weekend.
There will be $400,000 in tournament prizes while $100,000 will be dished out in charitable donations.
Matches will be held at the Margaret Court Arena and it looks like the volley girl skin will be launched to promote it.
It was though that the new tennis-themed skin could be dropping into the Fortnite shop on Saturday when the tournament begins.
However, Twitter user @iRealCross said the skin will become available instead on Thursday.
The Synergy player tweeted: “Also the Tennis skin is coming thursday.”
