The Fortnite Season 5 map will be unique. By now, almost every player has heard about the return of Chapter 1. However, it appears that the next season will contain multiple versions of the original island. On top of this, the map will keep changing every week, which sounds very exciting.
Epic Games already confirmed the return of Chapter 1, while Fortnite leakers shared a few more details regarding the future of the game. If these leaks turn out to be true, we will be getting weekly map changes next season. However, the first week will have a Chapter 1 – Season 5 map.
Here’s everything we know about it.
Fortnite Season 5 map will bring Chapter 1 back
Back in 2018, Epic Games released Chapter 1 – Season 5. The season added many new items to Fortnite, and the island received a desert biome for the first time. According to Leakers, this map will return next season. Due to this, here are the POIs we expect to see on Friday:
- Tilted Towers
- Pleasant Park
- Salty Springs
- Paradise Palms
- Junk Junction
- Haunted Hills
- Risky Reels
- Lazy Links
- Lonely Lodge
- Retail Row
- Tomato Town
- Fatal Fields
- Waiting Woods
- Lucky Landing
- Flush Factory
- Shifty Shafts
- Greasy Grove
- Snobby Shores
- Dusty Divot
- Loot Lake
The Fortnite Season 5 map will also have many iconic landmarks, like the prison and the soccer field. Leakers also claim that Epic Games will add ziplines in Zero Build modes, helping players reach all the places. Originally, ziplines were added in Chapter 1 – Season 7.

The Season 5 map will likely be active for only a week. After that, Epic will probably switch to Season 6, then Season 7, and all the way until Season X. If this leak turns out to be true, the next season will conclude with a remake of Season X and another big Fortnite live event.
