How long do we have to wait for some changes?
On paper, the Warzone Pacific update was a wonderful addition to a game that desperately needed change. In practice, Warzone is arguably in its worst state – there’s simply just so much wrong with the game right now. Similarly, Treyarch’s latest iteration of Zombies sounded great – however, it’s lacklustre and does little to make the most of what Vanguard is offering the mode. Vanguard’s multiplayer mode is fine, thankfully, but there’s always room for more content when it comes to these things.
There are a lot of reasons to look forwards to Vanguard Season Two, then. The only question we have is when does Vanguard Season Two actually start? We’re not going to learn too many details about what’s coming from Sledgehammer Games, Raven Software, and Treyarch yet but this should help you put together a timeline.
When does Vanguard Season Two start?
The next season of Vanguard is expected to begin at the start of February – around February 2nd. This is around when the current season pass ends, so we’re confident in suggesting this date – however, it would be worth taking this information with a small pinch of salt while we wait for confirmation from an official source.
With everything that’s going on with Activision Blizzard and the walkouts – it would be more than understandable to see this update delayed and pushed back.
Before that, though, we’re expecting to see a more minor update for both Vanguard and Warzone. This should take the form of a Season One Reloaded update – in a similar fashion to the updates we saw mid-season for Black Ops Cold War and Warzone. This update should introduce Isabella, the final Operator from SOTF Trident that’s been teased for a Season One release, and some important housekeeping updates for both games. We don’t think it’s going to solve all of Warzone’s issues though, that will come in the larger Season Two update – or later.
