Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Player Has Impressive Win/Loss Stat With No Kills

A Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 player has an immaculate kill-to-death ratio for their pacifist strategy in the multiplayer mode.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 player has managed a seemingly impossible Kill to Death ratio after days of play time registered without a single kill. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and the franchise as a whole, is famous for the amount of fast-paced action that often results in multiple deaths per match.

While the Modern Warfare franchise takes place in a realistic setting, the online component is anything but realistic. With players running and gunning in all directions across the various game modes, and even pulling off Jason Bourne-style moves to take down helicopters, chances of survival are slim in the kill-or-be-killed world of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’s online mode.

That is not the case for Reddit user Pilgore1, who has shared a screenshot of their Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer combat record. At the time of posting, the player has racked up a total playtime of 2 days, 23 hours, and 24 minutes across 429 games played. During that nearly 72-hour play time, a time akin to completing a Souls game, Pilgore1 has managed a perfect 0.00 Kill to Death ratio, declaring “Pacifism is a legitimate strategy.” The strategy may not be as viable in the upcoming hardcore mode in Modern Warfare 2 Season 2.

Commenters asked Pilgore1 what their favorite game mode is, and they confirmed that Hardpoint is their go-to for their play style. Other commenters posted to say that the game mode fits the play style, especially if using a riot shield and a lot of molotovs or smoke bombs. Using a shield would have been extra beneficial while a riot shield bug was making Modern Warfare 2 players seemingly invincible. Pilgore1 confirmed in another comment that they have been using a shield as well as a light machine gun, also implying that they have been shooting UAVs by saying “Nothing stays in the sky for long.”

Elsewhere, an unlucky Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 player accidentally died due to a missile meant for a UAV. Luckily for Pilgore1 and their pacifist run, they were not involved in the event. This kind of unlucky hit does go to further emphasize the chaos in a typical Call of Duty multiplayer match, and thus how much effort it must take to ensure such a clean record after the long play time garnered.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
