Assassin’s Creed publisher Ubisoft offering 20 free downloads right now

If you’re anything like me you probably already have a backlog of games to play that’s groaning under its own weight. But if you’re anything like me then you also continuously ping between games like an excited toddler, instantly running towards the next shiny new thing.

This article will not help with that problem, I’m sorry to say. But if you’re a bit cash-light as we drag ourselves towards the end of January, you might want to take a look at this huge list of free games and trials from Assassin’s Creed publisher Ubisoft. There are, in total, 20 downloads available. Not too shabby at all.

If you head over to Ubisoft’s website, there’s a dedicated and regularly updated section that outlines all the latest demos, extended trials, and free-to-play games you can check out. At the time of writing there are 20 downloads, including a demo for the latest Prince Of Persia that I would definitely urge you to take a look at.

The full list of games is as follows:

  • Growtopia – A free sandbox MMO aimed at younger audiences. Definitely one to keep the kids busy.
  • Prince Of Persia: The Lost Crown Demo – As I say, the new Prince Of Persia absolutely slaps, so check out this demo.
  • The Crew Motorfest Free Trial – Racing goodness. Not much more I can say about this one.
  • Mario + Rabbids Sparks Of Hope Demo – A fantastic sequel to an excellent game. A tactical RPG with Mario characters shouldn’t work, but it absolutely does.
  • Far Cry 6 Free Trial – Not the best Far Cry, but definitely worth a look.
  • Brawlhalla – Ubisoft’s answer to Super Smash Bros. is actually really, really awesome. And free!
  • Monopoly Madness Demo – A board game that dares to let you dream what it might be like to own property.
  • Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction Trial – A fantastic tactical shooter.
  • Immortals Fenyx Rising Demo – A super underrated Zelda-inspired open-world game that deserved a sequel.
  • Trackmania – More racing goodness with tons of content.
  • Might & Magic Chess Royale – Chess with extra steps.
  • Rabbids Coding – A great free game that teaches kids about coding so they can one day work in a slowly rotting industry that will never truly value them.
  • The Division 2 Trial – More shooting, looting fun.
  • Ghost Recon Breakpoint Trial – Not great, but worth an afternoon of fun.
  • Uno – I’m not explaining Uno to you.
  • The Crew 2 Free Trial – Yet more racing fun for all the family.
  • Trials Rising Demo – Actually a really awesome game. I’d urge you to take a look at this one.
  • Ghost Recon Wildlands – Much better than Breakpoint.
  • The Division Trial – Not as good as The Division 2.
