Like all Dino Crisis fans, we dream of a new chapter or a remake of the game from Capcom. That’s exactly why indie game studio Digitaly Arts decided to draw inspiration from it for their project.
Let’s admit it: Dino Crisis 3 disappointed many fans of the saga. Many expected a sequel that picked up where the second chapter left off: Regina going back to save Dylan. For our game, we started from this very premise: a woman, Kate, travels through time to save a man, Alan. However, our story and characters are entirely original, featuring a modern narrative that deeply explores relationships and personalities.
We’re thrilled to share Time Breaking: Dino Breach with you, an isometric survival horror adventure inspired by Dino Crisis, reimagining gameplay and graphics with a modern twist while preserving the unmistakable old-school atmosphere of those iconic games.
The game seamlessly shifts between claustrophobic environments, reminiscent of the original Dino Crisis, and open spaces inspired by Dino Crisis 2, all while keeping the spotlight firmly on the survival horror genre.
The story dives into the inevitability of fate and the desperate journey of a woman determined to save someone she deeply cares about. Her quest takes her through time, pitting her against deadly dinosaurs and causing irreversible damage to the space-time
continuum – threatening humanity itself and forcing her to face the devastating consequences of her actions.
SYNOPSIS
In a world where humanity has discovered the existence of time rifts, Kate, a member of the ROPE, special forces charged with protecting and escorting time-traveling researchers, finds herself continually jumping between various planes of space-time in a desperate attempt to rescue Alan, a researcher, but more importantly, a person very dear to her, who became trapped in one of these space-time planes during a previous unsuccessful mission. In a desperate attempt to save him, Kate will have to travel several times between the various planes of space-time, facing fearsome dinosaurs, mysterious soldiers who for some strange reason are looking for Alan, but above all strange temporal inconsistencies that set in motion a series of events that will lead her to face the consequences of her actions.
