Capcom is getting ready to show off what it has planned for the rest of 2023 and beyond.
Capcom is on a bit of a hot streak at the moment, with both Resident Evil 4 Remake and Street Fighter 6 under its belt already for 2023. Despite that though, the publisher is showing zero signs of slowing down right now, as it’s revealed that a new Capcom Showcase will be taking place next week as part of Summer Game Fest, showing fans what they have to look forward to for the rest of 2023 and beyond.
The show itself will take place next week on June 12, right after the recently announced Ubisoft Forward, so we have a double helping of gaming showcases to look forward to. As for what time, you’ll be able to tune in at 3PM PDT/ 6PM ET/ 11PM BST to catch the show, and it will run for around 36 minutes, meaning there’s plenty of time for a good few reveals and updates on existing titles.
Capcom hasn’t officially announced what’s going to be revealed during the show, but we can take some educated guesses based on what the developer has already put out or announced. For example, it’s pretty likely that we’ll see some Street Fighter 6, as Capcom will probably be looking to capitalize on what has been a massively successful launch. More characters will be added to Street Fighter 6, with Rashid having already been announced as the next in line, so it’s possible we could see some of his gameplay and release date.
Tune in on June 12, 3pm PDT for a Capcom Showcase digital event featuring roughly 36 minutes of news and updates on our latest games.

As for Capcom’s other massive blockbuster franchise, Resident Evil is currently flourishing and shows no signs of stopping. We could see the reveal of Resident Evil 4 Remake’s Separate Ways DLC which is believed to be in development, and some other potential surprises from the series. It feels a little bit too early for Capcom to announce Resident Evil 9, even as a teaser, but you never know with this publisher at the moment.
Besides those two, we can only really speculate. There’s a good chance we’ll see more of Exoprimal, Capcom’s multiplayer dino-slaying title, and possibly some new Monster Hunter projects. Pragmata is supposedly still on track for a 2023 release, yet we’ve seen absolutely nothing since its initial reveal in 2020. We could get a new trailer and updated release window for that, while Devil May Cry fans will undoubtedly have their fingers crossed for something Dante-related. Thankfully, we only have to wait until next Monday to find out.
