While messing around with the Ultrahand ability in Tarrey Town, one Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom player makes an accidental discovery.
Curiosity and the Ultrahand ability helped one Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom player make a surprising Korok discovery in Tarrey Town. In the original Breath of the Wild, Tarrey Town was a unique destination as the town essentially needed to be built from scratch. After purchasing a home, players had to help Hudson with various tasks and recruitment to ultimately build a thriving town. Thankfully, the effort is rewarded as Tarrey Town ultimately becomes a town filled with vendors selling rare and harder-to-find items, as well as a location where Link can rest for free.
Considering that Tears of the Kingdom uses a familiar version of the Breath of the Wild map, Tarrey Town makes its return, though players are no longer required to build it back up. Instead, Tarrey Town has a variety of side quests and adventures to partake in, a construction yard where Ultrahand can be used to build all sorts of unique contraptions, or players can once again build their dream home for Link. As one player discovered, Tarrey Town also has plenty of secrets to discover.
A user named DursoBR on the Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom subReddit posted a short video of them walking around the central square of Tarrey Town. Looking for intractable with Ultrahand, DursoBR notices the town square bell is actually highlighted inside of a large unmovable stone within the fountain. At first, they shoot an arrow which doesn’t do much, then decide to use Ultrahand to pull on it. Not only does this cause the bell to ring loudly, it also pops out a Korok, something which DursoBR had no idea would happen.

Based on the comment, it appears many players have overlooked this spot in the town, with many expressing their outright surprise that Nintendo would hide one of the 900 Koroks there. Others made a point to admit they use Ultrahand on anything that is highlighted by the game, just to make sure they’re not missing anything. Some in the comments hinted that players should also head to Hateno Village which has another bell on top of the schoolhouse that may also have another secret Korok.

Since the game’s launch, players and the Koroks have had a complicated relationship. While many of these NPC characters require rescuing, many players have taken it upon themselves to build elaborate torture devices or traps for these creatures. However, one Korok got the last laugh against a Tears of the Kingdom player, as they attempted to start a Korok puzzle but instead got flattened by a falling structure from the sky islands and sent flying.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available for Nintendo Switch.
