He began playing video games at an age too young to remember and music by the age of 12. He’s always wanted to put the two together and now he has. He is both self-taught and a formally trained musician and a massive retro video game enthusiast. He received his BA in Music and MA in Education from San Jose State University. He is currently a full-time Software Engineer, college instructor, and video game developer/publisher. So. What is the project about?. This is Sergio Elisondo’s album release of “You Are Error” on CD/Cassette/Digital, along with several music videos on an NES cartridge! Brought to you by the same team that made waves in the retro gaming scene back in 2015 with the first-ever, digital audio NES cart (Shiru / Programmer and RetroUSB / Hardware).
This cart works on OEM NES consoles (“toaster” and top-loader), RetroUSB’s AVS, and the NT mini. It includes PAL support for European console users as well. Not a single MOD is required and all content from music, images, and videos are all original from Sergio Elisondo.
Sergio Elisondo is bringing you with another “First-of-its-Kind”, though this time, we are combining digital video + audio while putting it on a cartridge for the NES; housed in a 64MB board! While very few have tested the capabilities of video on a NES, we decided to take it one huge step further and not only house it in an actual cartridge but also added some really cool video controls for the viewers! You can Play, Pause, Fast-Forward, Rewind, and Slow Motion. There will be a total of 6 awesome music videos on a single cartridge – OR if you are early enough, there will also be a limited quantity of hand-crafted DUAL CARTS that will house 10 music videos! The Dual Carts have the ability to be inserted into a NES from either side. Yes, that is correct, EITHER SIDE!.

Technical Specs:
64MB ROM on a custom board and custom mapper. This release does not use extra CPUs on the cartridge, just a large capacity ROM. The video & sound are all produced by the original NES hardware, just with a ton of ROM space and very clever code. 😉
Just put the cartridge in your NES console and hit the power button. NO MODS REQUIRED – None at all. This cartridge functions with any original NES, including RetroUSB’s AVS and the Nt Mini. Kick-off your shoes and find your favourite comfy chair to relax in. This is going to be one wild visual ride!
