SEATTLE – May 18, 2021: Developer L. D. Lamprecht and programming development company Ashton Data, LLC announced today the release of a video trailer for its upcoming AD’s Galaxy Traveler – The Journey Begins RPG-adventure game. For a limited time, PC gamers can view the video trailer and get an early taste of the action to come as they explore the charted and uncharted Galaxies. It is set to launch on Steam for PC this Winter 2021.
“AD Galaxy Traveler” It is based on the Classic Era Science Fiction 2D6-Open Gaming System in which players assume roles of characters in a fictional Sci-Fi setting. The Game’s (AI) programming encompasses these rules along with other programming procedures to resolve results behind the scenes. It is a system that creates characters, resolve tasks, fight creatures & aliens and engages in huge space battles, create worlds, build starships, enjoy the risks of interstellar speculative trading, exploring new worlds, and a host of other diverse activities The newly released trailer provides a first look at the mayhem that awaits players. AD’s Galaxy Traveler will feature:
Asteroid Mining: Vast mineral wealth awaits in asteroid belts and the many small planetoids of the typical solar system with countless worlds await the hardy adventurer or intrepid explorer.
The game, and perhaps most importantly, is not just limited to the pre-designed campaigns or open sandbox. The Game’s (AI) is uniquely designed to provide Game Masters/Referees with the ability to create almost any virtually Si-Fi adventure through the “REFEREE” option.This option allows Gamemasters/Referees to input/change rules, procedures, maps, etc., using the game’s basic structures as they develop new adventures.
No longer are Gamemasters/Referees confined to paper and pencils or miniatures. They can use the game’s internal structure to enhance their own game designed themes and sessions and with the Online Multi-Player mode, Gamemasters/Referees can hold sessions with players from around the world. The game can be played solo or up to 7 players per session.
