One of the highlights of Masahiro Sakurai’s Super Smash Bros. Ultimate broadcast yesterday was the reveal of the new Mii Fighter costumes coming to the game.
This time around there’s a lot of third-party and indie representation. We’ve got another Mega Man alt, Altair from Assassin’s Creed, the Rabbids, and on the indie front is Studio MDHR’s character Cuphead as a gunner.
Of course, for any developer, it’s an exciting time when your character is revealed in this all-star fighting series, and for the small team at Studio MDHR it was no different – with the official Cuphead Twitter account sending its thanks to the game’s director and Nintendo:
