Nintendo Switch games list could soon get bolstered by a major game set to get announced in the February 2019 Nintendo Direct.
Ninty fans have been kept on the edge of their seats in 2019 waiting for a Nintendo Direct announcement.
It was thought a Nintendo Direct was going to be held in January 2019 but instead that came and past without a new Direct presentation.
Instead, the House of Mario held an Indie Showcase – but fans are still holding out hope for a fully fledged Nintendo Direct.
And it’s been rumoured that a Nintendo Direct for February 2019 could be held this week – and there’s one game that could get announced.
As reported in a post by Nintendo Everything, a listing appeared on the GameStop Germany website for a Switch version of Spyro Reignited Trilogy.
Spyro on the Switch was listed as having a release date of August 16, but the page on the GameStop website was later taken down.
Could it be that the Spyro port was announced early, and that it will get an official announcement at the upcoming Nintendo Direct?
It’s rumoured that a Nintendo Direct could be being held on Wednesday February 13.
The news was revealed in a thread on ResetEra by user king zell – who has been correct on numerous occasions in the past.
It’s rumoured that Metroid Prime Trilogy for the Switch could be announced as well as Super Mario Maker 2.
It’s also been claimed that Nintendo has a “bunch of Switch announcements coming this year” but the scheduling for these reveals isn’t clear right now.
So titles such as a new 2D Zelda are in the works, in addition to the Gen 8 Pokemon game and a Pikmin game for the Switch.
However, it’s unclear whether these games will get revealed in the rumoured February 2019 Nintendo Direct or a later one.
