Fortnite: Where to Find Driftboards

0

Players can now experience the joy of riding a Driftboard in Fortnite once again, so here’s where to find them.

Fortnite‘s Battle Royale island is huge, so all 100 players in a match have plenty of space to explore. Players who tend to land near the map’s extremities will oftentimes find themselves far away from the safe zone and have to spend most of their time running from the storm once the Storm Circle starts getting smaller.

The storm damages players, so they should avoid being in it at all costs. This is why it’s so handy to have a mobility item or a vehicle nearby. This guide will tell players where they can find the Driftboard in Fortnite, which is available until the end of the Cowabunga event.

Where to Find a Driftboard

The Driftboard was unvaulted for one of the Fortnite OG updates, but once Chapter 5 Season 1 started, it was removed from the game once again. Now, it’s been added once again for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Cowabunga event, and fans find TMNT Driftboards near certain locations and try out some tricks until February 27.

Driftboards have several possible spawn locations, which means players will have the chance to find these mobility items in certain places, but it’s not guaranteed that they will be there every single match. Regardless, here is every single spawn location where gamers might find a Driftboard in Fortnite:

Driftboards spawn near POIs and other landmarks. If you need to find a Driftboard for one of the Splinter Assignment Quests, you might want to try your luck near Reckless Railways, as it’s the named location with the most Driftboard spawn points.

How to Use the Driftboard

The Driftboard is considered a vehicle in Fortnite, which means gamers don’t need to save an inventory slot to take it with them. This is a vehicle that can get players anywhere pretty fast as it has a Boost option. However, it is quite unsafe as it doesn’t offer any protection – players will be quite vulnerable while riding the Driftboard. Thankfully, they can press and hold the Jump button to try to avoid threats coming in their direction.

Players can also try to perform awesome tricks with the Driftboard; a point counter will appear on the left side of the screen, just like the Dirt Bike.
